⁸ Guarding the paths of justice,
And He ^(A)watches over the way of His godly ones.
⁹ Then you will discern ^(B)righteousness, justice,
And integrity, and every ^(C)good path.

⁵ The thoughts of the righteous are just,
But the counsels of the wicked are deceitful.

^23 (A)Abundant food is in the uncultivated ground of the poor,
But ^[a]it is swept away by injustice.

¹⁰ A divine ^(A)verdict is on the lips of the king;
His mouth should not ^[a]err in judgment.
¹¹ A ^(B)just balance and scales belong to the Lord;
All the ^[b]weights of the bag are His ^[c]concern.
¹² It is an abomination for kings to commit wicked acts,
Because a ^(C)throne is established on righteousness.

¹⁵ One who ^(A)justifies the wicked and one who condemns the righteous,
Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

²³ A wicked person accepts a ^(A)bribe ^[a]from an inside pocket
To ^(B)pervert the ways of justice.
