³³ Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding,
But in the midst of fools it is merely made known.

¹⁴ The ^(A)heart of the one who has understanding seeks knowledge,
But the mouth of fools feeds on folly.

²⁴ The ^(A)path of life leads upward for the one who has insight
That he may turn away from Sheol below.

²¹ The ^(A)wise in heart will be called understanding,
And sweetness of ^[a]lips ^(B)increases learning.

¹⁵ The ^(A)heart of the understanding acquires knowledge,
And the ^(B)ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

² By the transgression of a land ^(A)many are its princes,
But ^(B)by a man who understands, who knows, so it endures.

¹¹ The rich man is ^(A)wise in his own eyes,
But the lowly who understands ^[a]searches him.
