He breathes lies, and he will perish.

⁹A false witness will not go unpunished,
and he who breathes lies will perish.

²⁹Punishments have been prepared for scoffers
and beatings for the backs of fools.

²⁹Judgments^[a] are prepared for the scoffers,
and flogging for the back of fools.
