Proverbs 19:12-17

¹² A king's wrath is like ^(A)the growling of a lion,
    but his ^(B)favor is like ^(C)dew on the grass.
^13 (D)A foolish son is ruin to his father,
    and ^(E)a wife's quarreling is ^(F)a continual dripping of rain.
^14 (G)House and wealth are inherited from fathers,
    but a prudent wife is ^(H)from the Lord.
^15 (I)Slothfulness casts into ^(J)a deep sleep,
    and ^(K)an idle person will suffer hunger.
¹⁶ Whoever ^(L)keeps the commandment keeps his life;
    he who despises his ways will die.
^17 (M)Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,
    and he ^(N)will repay him for his ^(O)deed.
