nor to flog officials for their integrity.

Nor to strike the noble for their uprightness.

⁵To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good,
nor to deprive the innocent of justice.

⁵To ^(A)show partiality to the wicked is not good,
Nor to ^(B)suppress the righteous in judgment.

⁸The way of the guilty is devious,
but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

⁸The way of a guilty person is ^(A)crooked,
But as for the pure, his conduct is upright.
