¹⁶Why is there money in the hand of a fool to ^(A)buy wisdom,
When ^[a]he has no sense?

²⁴The person with understanding is always ·looking for [focused on] wisdom,
but the mind of a fool wanders ·everywhere [^Lto the ends of the earth].

²⁴Wisdom is in the presence of one who has understanding,
But the ^(A)eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.
