Proverbs 16:2-4

New International Version

² All a person’s ways seem pure to them,^(A)
    but motives are weighed^(B) by the Lord.^(C)

³ Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
    and he will establish your plans.^(D)

⁴ The Lord works out everything to its proper end^(E)—
    even the wicked for a day of disaster.^(F)
