^13 (A)Righteous lips are the delight of kings,
And they love him who speaks what is right.

¹⁹ I have not spoken in ^(A)secret,
In a dark place of the earth;
I did not say to the seed of Jacob,
‘Seek Me ^[a]in vain’;
^(B)I, the Lord, speak righteousness,
I declare things that are right.

⁵ Everyone will ^(A)deceive his neighbor,
And will not speak the truth;
They have taught their tongue to speak lies;
They weary themselves to commit iniquity.

¹⁶ These are the things you shall ^(A)do:
^(B)Speak each man the truth to his neighbor;
Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;
