¹⁴ Settle it therefore in your minds ^(A)not to meditate beforehand how to answer, ¹⁵ for ^(B)I will give you a mouth and ^(C)wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or ^(D)contradict.

¹³ for ^(A)it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for ^(B)his good pleasure.

^19 (A)When ^(B)they deliver you over, ^(C)do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for ^(D)what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. ^20 (E)For it is not you who speak, but ^(F)the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

^11 (A)And when they ^(B)bring you before the synagogues and ^(C)the rulers and ^(D)the authorities, ^(E)do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, ^12 (F)for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
