⁹Fools mock at the guilt offering,^[a]
but the upright enjoy God’s favor.

¹³He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

¹³No one who conceals transgressions will prosper,
but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.^(A)
