⁹Ignorant fools scoff at guilt,
But ^(A)among the upright there is favor.

Proverbs 14:9

New International Version

⁹Fools mock at making amends for sin,
but goodwill is found among the upright.

¹³He who ^(A)conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
But he who ^(B)confesses and forsakes them will receive compassion.

¹³Whoever conceals their sins^(A) does not prosper,
but the one who confesses^(B) and renounces them finds mercy.^(C)
