⁶A scorner seeketh wisdom and findeth it not, but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.

American Standard Version

⁶A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not;
But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding.

¹⁰A reproof entereth deeper into a wise man than a hundred stripes into a fool.

¹⁰A rebuke entereth deeper into one that hath understanding
Than a hundred stripes into a fool.

²⁴Wisdom is before him that hath understanding, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.

²⁴Wisdom is before the face of him that hath understanding;
But the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.
