³¹He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker, but he that honoreth Him hath mercy on the poor.

³¹He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker;
But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him.

⁸He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

⁸He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase,
Gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor.
