²⁶ Reverence for the Lord gives confidence and security to a man and his family.

28 The wicked run when no one is chasing them, but an honest person is as brave as a lion.

¹² In union with Christ and through our faith in him we have the boldness to go into God's presence with all confidence.

¹⁶ Let us have confidence, then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.

Let Us Come Near to God

¹⁹ We have, then, my friends, complete freedom to go into the Most Holy Place by means of the death of Jesus.
