²² Don’t those who plan evil go astray?^(A)
But those who plan good find loyalty and faithfulness.^(B)

³⁴ Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin is a disgrace to any people.^(A)

⁶ The house of the righteous has great wealth,
but trouble accompanies the income of the wicked.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the Lord,^(A)
but the prayer of the upright is His delight.^(B)

⁹ The Lord detests the way of the wicked,
but He loves the one who pursues righteousness.^(A)

²⁹ The Lord is far from the wicked,^(A)
but He hears the prayer of the righteous.^(B)

¹⁷ The highway of the upright^(A) avoids evil;
the one who guards his way protects his life.^(B)

⁷ The one who lives with integrity is righteous;^(A)
his children^[a] who come after him will be happy.^(B)

⁷ The violence of the wicked sweeps them away
because they refuse to act justly.

¹⁰ A wicked person desires evil;
he has no consideration^[a] for his neighbor.^(A)
