But wickedness brings the ^[c]sinner to ruin.

⁹ The ^(A)light of the righteous ^[a]rejoices,
But the ^(B)lamp of the wicked goes out.

²² A good person ^(A)leaves an inheritance to his ^[a]grandchildren,
And the ^(B)wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous.

²⁵ The ^(A)righteous ^[a]has enough to satisfy his appetite,
But the stomach of the ^(B)wicked is in need.
