but the person of diligence is richly supplied.

English Standard Version

⁴^(A)The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing,
while the soul of the diligent ^(B)is richly supplied.

¹¹Wealth gained from haste^[a] will dwindle,
but he who gathers little by little^[b] will increase it.

¹¹^(A)Wealth gained hastily^[a] will dwindle,
but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.
