but the wicked act disgustingly and disgracefully.

another pretends to be poor but has great wealth.(H)

but a poor man hears no threat.

but wisdom is gained by those who take advice.

but whoever earns it through labor[b] will multiply it.(N)

Proverbios 13
Dios Habla Hoy
13 El hijo sabio acepta la corrección del padre;
3 Cuidar las palabras es cuidarse uno mismo;
el que habla mucho se arruina solo.
4 El perezoso desea y no consigue;
el que trabaja, prospera.
5 El hombre justo odia la mentira;
6 La rectitud protege al hombre intachable;
8 La riqueza del rico le salva la vida;
el pobre jamás escucha amenazas.
9 Los justos son como una luz brillante;
los malvados, como lámpara que se apaga.
10 El orgullo sólo provoca peleas;
la sabiduría está con los humildes.
11 La riqueza ilusoria, disminuye;
13 El que desatiende una orden, lo lamentará;
18 Pobreza y deshonra tendrá quien desprecia el consejo;
grandes honores, quien atiende la corrección.
19 El deseo cumplido es causa de alegría.
Los necios no soportan alejarse del mal.
20 Júntate con sabios y obtendrás sabiduría;
júntate con necios y te echarás a perder.
21 Los pecadores son perseguidos por el mal;
los justos, recompensados con el bien.
22 El hombre bueno deja herencia a sus nietos;
24 Quien no corrige a su hijo, no lo quiere;
el que lo ama, lo corrige.
25 El justo come hasta estar satisfecho,
pero el malvado se queda con hambre.
