⁵The godly are directed by honesty;
the wicked fall beneath their load of sin.

⁵The ^(A)righteousness of the blameless will make his way straight,
But ^(B)the wicked will fall by his own wickedness.

²⁰The Lord detests people with crooked hearts,
but he delights in those with integrity.

²⁰Those with a crooked heart are an abomination to Yahweh,
But those of a ^(A)blameless way are His ^(B)delight.

¹⁰Those who lead good people along an evil path
will fall into their own trap,
but the honest will inherit good things.

¹⁰He who leads the upright astray in an evil way
Will ^(A)himself fall into his own pit,
But the ^(B)blameless will inherit good.
