²⁸ Those who trust in riches will ·be ruined [^Lfall],
but a good person will ·be healthy [flourish] like a green leaf.

³⁰ ·A good person gives life to others [^LThe fruit of the righteous is the tree of life];
the wise person ·teaches others how to live [gathers lives/souls].

³¹ If ·good [righteous] people will get their due on earth,
How much more the wicked and the sinners.

¹⁹ Evil people will bow down to those who are good;
the wicked will bow down at the ·door of those who do right [^Lgates of the righteous].

³² The wicked are ·ruined [thrown down] by their own evil,
but those who ·do right [are righteous] ·are protected [find refuge] even in death.

⁶ Much ·wealth [treasure] is in the houses of ·good [righteous] people,
but evil people get nothing but trouble.

²⁸ ·Good people [^LThe heart/mind of the righteous] ·think [reflect; meditate] before they answer,
but the wicked simply ·pour [blurt] out evil.

²⁹ The Lord ·does not listen to [^Lis far from] the wicked,
but he hears the prayers of ·those who do right [the righteous].

¹⁰ The name of the Lord is like a strong tower;
·those who do right [the righteous] can run to him for ·safety [refuge].

¹⁵ When justice is done, ·good [righteous] people are happy,
but evil people are ruined.

¹⁸ Wicked people ·will suffer instead of [^Lare a ransom for] ·good [righteous] people,
and ·those who cannot be trusted [the unfaithful] will suffer instead of those ·who do right [with integrity/virtue].

²⁶ All day long they wish for more,
but ·good [righteous] people give without holding back.
