²³ It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness;
^[a]And so is wisdom to a man of understanding.

¹² He that despiseth his neighbor is void of ^[a]wisdom;
But a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

²¹ Folly is joy to him that is void of ^[a]wisdom;
But a man of understanding maketh straight his going.

²⁷ He ^[a]that spareth his words hath knowledge;
And he that is of a cool spirit is a man of understanding.

⁵ Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water;
But a man of understanding will draw it out.
