Proverbs 10:10

¹⁰He ^(A)who winks the eye causes trouble,
And ^[a]^(B)a babbling fool will come to ruin.

International Standard Version

¹⁰Those who wink their eyes^[a] are trouble makers,
and the mocking fool will be brought down.^[b]

Proverbs 10:10 I.e. Those whose looks communicate insincerity
Proverbs 10:10 So MT; LXX reads makers, but the one who reproves publicly makes peace

²³Doing wickedness is like ^(A)sport to a fool,
And so is wisdom to a person of understanding.
