¹⁰He ^(A)who winks the eye causes pain,
And ^(B)an ignorant fool of loose lips will be ^[a]ruined.

New International Version

¹⁰Whoever winks maliciously^(A) causes grief,
and a chattering fool comes to ruin.

²³Doing wickedness is like ^(A)laughing to a fool,
And so is wisdom to a man of discernment.

²³A fool finds pleasure in wicked schemes,^(A)
but a person of understanding delights in wisdom.
