But with ^(B)the mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.

²⁹ One who ^(A)troubles his own house will ^(B)inherit wind,
And ^(C)the foolish will be servant to the wise-hearted.

³ In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for his back,
But ^(A)the lips of the wise will protect them.

¹⁶ A wise person ^[a]is cautious and ^(A)turns away from evil,
But a fool is arrogant and careless.

²⁴ The ^(A)crown of the wise is their riches,
But the foolishness of fools is simply foolishness.

² The ^(A)tongue of the wise makes knowledge pleasant,
But the ^(B)mouth of fools spouts foolishness.
