21 No harm happens to the righteous,
    but the wicked are filled with trouble.^(C)
22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
    but those who act faithfully are his delight.^(D)

    but the wicked act shamefully and disgracefully.

²⁵ A truthful witness saves lives,
    but one who utters lies is a betrayer.^(A)

⁷ Excess speech is not becoming to a fool;
