³³ The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked,
    but he blesses the abode of the righteous.^(A)
34 Toward the scorners he is scornful,
    but to the humble he shows favor.^(B)

²³ Keep your heart with all vigilance,
    for from it flow the springs of life.^(A)
24 Put away from you crooked speech,
    and put devious talk far from you.^(B)
25 Let your eyes look directly forward
    and your gaze be straight before you.
²⁶ Keep straight the path of your feet,
    and all your ways will be sure.^(C)
27 Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
    turn your foot away from evil.^(D)

³⁵ For whoever finds me finds life
    and obtains favor from the Lord,^(A)

⁶ Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
    but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.^(A)

¹⁷ Those who are kind reward themselves,
    but the cruel do themselves harm.

³¹ If the righteous are repaid on earth,
    how much more the wicked and the sinner!^(A)

² The good obtain favor from the Lord,
    but those who devise evil he condemns.^(A)

¹² The wicked covet the proceeds of wickedness,^[a]
    but the root of the righteous bears fruit.

²¹ Misfortune pursues sinners,
    but prosperity rewards the righteous.^(A)
