³³ The curse of Jehovah is in the house of the wicked;
But he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.
^34 [a]Surely he scoffeth at the scoffers;
^[b]But he giveth grace unto the lowly.

²³ Keep thy heart ^[a]with all diligence;
For out of it are the issues of life.
²⁴ Put away from thee a wayward mouth,
And perverse lips put far from thee.
²⁵ Let thine eyes look right on,
And let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
^26 [b]Make level the path of thy feet,
And let all thy ways be ^[c]established.
²⁷ Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
Remove thy foot from evil.

³⁵ For whoso findeth me findeth life,
And shall ^[a]obtain favor of Jehovah.

⁶ Blessings are upon the head of the righteous;
But ^[a]violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

¹⁷ The merciful man doeth good to his own soul;
But he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

³¹ Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth;
How much more the wicked and the sinner!

² A good man shall obtain favor of Jehovah;
But a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

¹² The wicked desireth ^[a]the net of evil men;
But the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.

²¹ Evil pursueth sinners;
But the righteous shall be recompensed with good.

¹⁴ The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways;
And a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
