3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
(A)Bind them around your neck,
(B)Write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 (C)And so find favor and [a]high esteem
In the sight of God and man.

5 (D)Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
(E)And lean not on your own understanding;
6 (F)In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [b]direct your paths.
