⁶ By transgression an evil man is ^(A)ensnared,
But the righteous ^(B)sings with joy and is glad.
⁷ The ^(C)righteous knows the cause of the poor,
The wicked does not understand that knowledge.

¹⁰ Men of ^(A)bloodshed hate the blameless,
But the upright seek the well-being of his soul.

¹⁶ When the wicked ^[a]increase, transgression increases;
But the ^(A)righteous will see their fall.

²⁷ An ^(A)unjust man is an abomination to the righteous,
And he who is ^(B)upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
