24 One who is a partner with a thief hates his own life;
He (A)hears the oath but tells nothing.
25 The (B)fear of man [a]brings a snare,
But one who (C)trusts in the Lord will be protected.
26 (D)Many seek the ruler’s [b]favor,
But (E)justice for mankind comes from the Lord.
