Proverbs 28:25-27

English Standard Version

²⁵A greedy man ^(A)stirs up strife,
    but the one who trusts in the Lord will ^(B)be enriched.
²⁶Whoever ^(C)trusts in his own mind is a fool,
    but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.
²⁷Whoever ^(D)gives to the poor will not want,
    but he who ^(E)hides his eyes will get many a curse.
