Proverbs 28:24

²⁴The one who robs his father or mother^(A)
and says, “That’s no sin,”^(B)
is a companion to a man who destroys.^(C)

²⁴Whoever robs their father or mother^(A)
and says, “It’s not wrong,”
is partner to one who destroys.^(B)

⁸If we say, “We have no sin,”^(A) we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

⁸If we claim to be without sin,^(A) we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.^(B)
