And does not know that want will come upon him.

New International Version

²²The stingy are eager to get rich
and are unaware that poverty awaits them.^(A)

²⁵An ^[a]arrogant man ^(A)stirs up strife,
But he who ^(B)trusts in Yahweh ^(C)will ^[b]be enriched.

²⁵The greedy stir up conflict,^(A)
but those who trust in the Lord^(B) will prosper.
