Proverbs 28:20-22

English Standard Version

²⁰A faithful man will abound with blessings,
    but whoever hastens to be rich ^(A)will not go unpunished.
²¹To show ^(B)partiality is not good,
    but for ^(C)a piece of bread a man will do wrong.
²²A ^(D)stingy man^[a] ^(E)hastens after wealth
    and does not know that ^(F)poverty will come upon him.
