Proverbs 26:27

New International Version

²⁷Whoever digs a pit^(A) will fall into it;^(B)
if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.^(C)

²⁷Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

¹⁸The one whose walk is blameless is kept safe,^(A)
but the one whose ways are perverse will fall^(B) into the pit.^[a]

¹⁸Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
