²⁸A lying tongue hates those it hurts,
and a flattering mouth^(A) works ruin.

¹⁶The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor, but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.

¹⁶A tyrannical ruler practices extortion,
but one who hates ill-gotten gain will enjoy a long reign.

¹⁰The bloodthirsty hate the upright, but the just seek his soul.

¹⁰The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity
