^19 (A)never taking your own revenge, beloved—instead ^[a]leave room for the wrath of God. For it is written, “^(B)Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

¹⁵ See that ^(A)no one repays another with evil for evil, but always ^(B)seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.

^9 (A)not returning evil for evil or ^(B)reviling for reviling, but ^[a]giving a ^(C)blessing instead, for ^(D)you were called for the very purpose that you might ^(E)inherit a blessing.
