Proverbs 23:6-8
New Living Translation
6 Don’t eat with people who are stingy;
don’t desire their delicacies.
7 They are always thinking about how much it costs.[a]
“Eat and drink,” they say, but they don’t mean it.
8 You will throw up what little you’ve eaten,
and your compliments will be wasted.

6 Ayaw pagkaon ni kaibog sa pagkaon nga giandam sa kuripot nga tawo, bisan ug lamian pa kini. 7 Kay ang tawo nga sama niana maniid kon unsa kadaghan imong gikaon.[a] Moingon siya, “Sige, kaon pa.” Apan dili diay kinasingkasing ang iyang gisulti. 8 Busa isuka mo ang imong gikaon ug sayang lang ang imong mga pagdayeg kaniya.
