¹⁵ It is joy to the righteous to do justice;
^[a]But it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

⁸ He that soweth iniquity shall reap ^[a]calamity;
And the rod of his wrath shall fail.

²² Rob not the poor, ^[a]because he is poor;
Neither ^[b]oppress the afflicted in the gate:

¹¹ Deliver them that are carried away unto death,
And those that are ^[a]ready to be slain ^[b]see that thou hold back.

⁵ Take away the wicked from before the king,
And his throne shall be established in righteousness.

⁵ Evil men understand not justice;
But they that seek Jehovah understand all things.

⁴ The king by justice establisheth the land;
But ^[a]he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.

²⁶ Many seek the ruler’s favor;
But a man’s judgment cometh from Jehovah.
²⁷ An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous;
And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.

⁸ Open thy mouth for the dumb,
In the cause of all such as are ^[a]left desolate.
⁹ Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
And minister justice to the poor and needy.
