²¹ For the ^(A)ways of a man are before the eyes of Yahweh,
And He ^(B)watches all his tracks.

¹⁶ There are six things which Yahweh hates,
Even seven which are an abomination ^[a]to Him:
^17 (A)Haughty eyes, a ^(B)lying tongue,
And hands that ^(C)shed innocent blood,
¹⁸ A heart that devises ^(D)wicked thoughts,
^(E)Feet that hasten to run to evil,
¹⁹ A ^(F)false witness who breathes out lies,
And one who ^[b](G)spreads strife among brothers.

³ The ^(A)eyes of Yahweh are in every place,
Watching the evil and the good.

^11 (A)Sheol and Abaddon lie open before Yahweh,
How much more the ^(B)hearts of the sons of men!

²⁹ Yahweh is ^(A)far from the wicked,
But He ^(B)hears the prayer of the righteous.

16 The ^[a](A)plans of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from Yahweh.
² All the ways of a man are pure in his own sight,
But ^(B)Yahweh weighs the ^[b]motives.
