Proverbs 18:21-23

²¹^(A)Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

²²^(B)He who finds a wife finds a good thing,
And obtains favor from the Lord.

²³The poor man uses entreaties,
But the rich answers ^(C)roughly.

and those who love it will eat its fruit.^(B)

²²He who finds a wife finds what is good^(C)
and receives favor from the Lord.^(D)

²³The poor plead for mercy,
but the rich answer harshly.
