¹⁵ He who ^(A)justifies the wicked and he who ^(B)condemns the righteous
    are both alike an abomination to the Lord.

^26 (A)To impose a fine on a righteous man is not good,
    nor to strike the noble for their uprightness.

⁵ It is not good to ^(A)be partial to^[a] the wicked
    or to ^(B)deprive the righteous of justice.

¹⁵ When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous
    ^(A)but terror to evildoers.

^11 (A)Rescue those who are being taken away to death;
    hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.
¹² If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,”
    ^(B)does not he who ^(C)weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who ^(D)keeps watch over your soul know it,
    and will he not repay man ^(E)according to his work?

⁵ Evil men ^(A)do not understand justice,
    but those who seek the Lord ^(B)understand it completely.

²⁶ Many ^(A)seek the face of a ruler,
    but it is from the Lord that a man ^(B)gets justice.
