²⁵Yahweh will uproot the house of the proud,
but he will keep the widow’s borders intact.

²⁵The Lord tears down the house of the proud,^(A)
but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.^(B)

²⁵The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.

³³The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom.
Before honor is humility.

³³Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,^(A)
and humility comes before honor.^(B)

³³The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
