Proverbs 13:3-5
English Standard Version
3 (A)Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life;
(B)he who opens wide his lips (C)comes to ruin.
4 (D)The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing,
while the soul of the diligent (E)is richly supplied.
5 The righteous hates falsehood,
but the wicked brings shame[a] and disgrace.
