Proverbs 13:24

New International Version

²⁴Whoever spares the rod^(A) hates their children,
but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline^(B) them.^(C)

¹⁸^(A)Discipline your son while there is hope,
And do not ^[a]direct your soul to put him to death.

¹⁸Discipline your children, for in that there is hope;
do not be a willing party to their death.^(A)
