¹⁶Every ^(A)prudent man acts with knowledge,
But a fool spreads out folly.

Proverbs 13:16

New International Version

¹⁶All who are prudent act with^[a] knowledge,
but fools expose^(A) their folly.^(B)

¹⁹Desire realized is pleasant to the soul,
But it is an abomination to fools to turn away from evil.

¹⁹A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul,^(A)
but fools detest turning from evil.
