⁴ To give ^(A)prudence to the naive,
To the youth ^(B)knowledge and discretion,

³² For the ^(A)faithlessness of the naive will kill them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them.

⁵ You ^(A)naive ones, understand prudence;
And, you ^(B)fools, understand ^[a]wisdom!

⁴ “^(A)Whoever is naive, let him turn in here!”
To him who ^(B)lacks ^[a]understanding she says,

³ A ^(A)prudent person sees evil and hides himself,
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
