⁹ The one who lives with integrity lives securely,^(A)

but the wicked person will fall because of his wickedness.

⁶ The righteousness of the upright rescues them,
but the treacherous are trapped by their own desires.^(A)

¹⁶ A wise man is cautious and turns from evil,^(A)
but a fool is easily angered and is careless.^[a]

³ The eyes of the Lord are everywhere,
