¹⁵ The leech has two daughters—
Give and Give!

There are three things that are never satisfied,
Four never say, “Enough!”:
^16 (A)The^[a] grave,
The barren womb,
The earth that is not satisfied with water—
And the fire never says, “Enough!”

²⁵ The ^(A)desire of the lazy man kills him,
For his hands refuse to labor.
²⁶ He covets greedily all day long,
But the righteous ^(B)gives and does not spare.

⁶ Do not eat the bread of ^(A)a^[a] miser,
Nor desire his delicacies;
⁷ For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” ^(B)he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.
⁸ The morsel you have eaten, you will vomit up,
And waste your pleasant words.
