Proverbs 28:13

New International Version

¹³Whoever conceals their sins^(A) does not prosper,
but the one who confesses^(B) and renounces them finds mercy.^(C)

¹³He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

¹⁴Blessed is the one who always trembles before God,
but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

¹⁴Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
